Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB)
The Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) resolves disputes between residential landlords and tenants. The LTB also provides information about its practices and procedures and the rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants under the Residential Tenancies Act.
Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC)
CMHC helps Canadians meet their housing needs. As Canada’s authority on housing, we contribute to the stability of the housing market and financial system, provide support for Canadians in housing need, and offer objective housing research and advice to Canadian governments, consumers and the housing industry.
Landlord Self Help Centre
Landlord’s Self-Help Centre is the only community clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario that provides services exclusively to small-scale landlords across Ontario.

- Hamilton and District Apartment Associated (HDAA) The Hamilton and District Apartment Association, a non-profit organization, serves member landlords and property managers throughout Hamilton, Burlington, Brantford, Guelph, Mississauga, Oakville, St. Catharines and into the Niagara Peninsula.
- Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) The Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario is the largest association in Ontario representing those who own, manage, build and finance, service and supply residential rental homes.
- Canadian Federation of Apartment Associations (CFAA) The Canadian Federation of Apartment Associations (“CFAA”) represents the owners and managers of close to one million residential rental suites in Canada, through 11 associations across Canada and direct landlord memberships.
